Ruthie Tipton..1996 Miss Missouri Outdoors

Ruthie received a Proclamation from Governor Mel Carnahan for her promotion of tourism and non-profit organizations.

She was awarded two gold keys for outstanding leadership and promotion of tourism and non-profit organizations.

She enjoyed publishing The Many Flavors of Missouri Cookbook...proceeds donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation to make Jame's wish come true.

Ruthie was honored to be a special guest at the "Hope of America" celebration in Branson, Mo. during The Veteran's Homecoming on November 8,1995. During the "Hope of America" celebration the Veteran's Monument was dedicated to all veterans by Mr. Bob Hope.
